Story: Bartok, an aged nobleman, keeps track of his wealth – a vassal empire for a great empire. Guarding the Bartok clan are Commander Raiden and his elite soldiers, who also serve Bartok. Raiden is surprised when Bartok tells him that he is his heir, and gives him the sword. The empire is corrupted and the wicked minister, Giza Mott, humiliates Bartok by beating him with a stick for failing to provide a substantial bribe, until Bartok retaliates – which is treason against the crown. Bartók is put on trial, where he speaks openly of his disdain for what has become an honor in the Empire.
