Story: In 1982, a Soviet Moon lander crashed in the Bering Sea. In 2015, Ronelle and Sadie, two biology graduate students, joined their professor, Stephen, on an experimental tour to study the effects of global warming on whales. Sadie’s grandfather, Graff, takes them out to sea in his commercial fishing trawler, Harbinger, manned by Bowman, Big G, Doc, Svetlana and Atka. When Graff has lost his courage after losing his father at sea, Sadie encourages him to sail the boat. After meeting the crew, Sadie, Ronell and Stefan fall asleep.
