Quick storyline
At Cybertron, Optimus Prime-led autobots, on the verge of losing the Great Cybertron War to their enemies Decepticon, began making preparations to leave the planet. Decepticons led by Shockwave, Soundwave and Starscream ambush them as they exit, and Optimus sends a young Scout B-127 to Earth, setting the stage for the autoboats to reassemble. B-127 reached Earth only in 1987, landed in California and disrupted training conducted by Sector 7, a secret government agency that monitors extraterrestrial activity on Earth. Section 7 Agent Colonel Jack Burns attacks B-127 as a hostile invader, pushes B-127 into the jungle, and then ambush him by Decepticon Blitzwing. When B-127 refuses to reveal the location of the Optimus, Blitzwing disgustingly tears his voice box and damages his memory. B-127 Blitzwing is able to destroy him before he slips from his wounds. Before entering the stagnation, the B-127 is scanned and converted to yellow 1967 Volkswagen Beetle.
